We recently had a plumbing emergency at Hopefield and Elite Plumbing, Heating & Bathrooms came to our rescue!
If you’re looking for things to do on Mother’s Day in Essex then look no further than a fun-packed, ethical day out at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary! Explore our 53 acres, meet our rescued residents, burn off steam in the playground and then treat yourselves to lunch and cake in our on-site tea room. Not only is this the wholesome day out for Mother’s Day you were looking for, but mums and nans can visit us on the day for FREE! Book your tickets for the rest of the family online for the best rates – no need to book a ticket for mum and/or nan – they will be let in for free at the door and given a voucher for their drink.
We have a few mother and son/daughter rescued animals here at Hopefield, including characters such as Leo the pony and his mum Angelica (who came to us in a very sorry condition while pregnant), Doris the donkey and her daughter Dolly, Regina the donkey and her son Ernie, and Bambi the Shetland Pony and her daughter Spice.
Don’t forget that if you’re also looking for the perfect gift for the special women in your lives this Mother’s Day, we have lots of wonderful options in our online gift shop including animal sponsorships, ethical animal experiences and afternoon tea vouchers – every penny raised through these thoughtful gifts and from visiting us will go back into caring for the almost 700 feathered, furry and scaled residents that call Hopefield their forever home.
