Our foxes have had an enclosure upgrade

Mia, Charlie, Vivien, Gremlin, Moxy, Wolfie and Bear have been busy getting to know their newly extended and upgraded enclosure — and seeing them sniffing, exploring and investigating every little change has made us so happy. 💙

Many of our foxes haven’t had the easiest starts in life. Most arrived at Hopefield after being kept as pets and later becoming unwanted. Foxes should never be kept as pets and it breaks out heart to think of them being part of the exotic pet trade, and also being exploited around the world for their fur.

Here at Hopefield, they never have to worry about any of that again. Hopefield is their home for life, and we’re determined to make that home as safe, enriching and comfortable as it can possibly be.
