THE GIVING LOTTERY
We've launched our lottery page with the Giving Lottery! Support our good cause and win prizes of up to £25,000! 40% of ticket sales from our page go directly to the sanctuary, and tickets only cost £1 per week.
HOW TO FUNDRAISE ON FACEBOOK
Is your birthday coming up and you’d rather people donate to charity instead of buying you a gift? Are you holding a sponsored event and you’re looking for an easy way for people to donate? Or are you just looking to raise some much-needed funds for the sanctuary? It’s easier than ever to set up a fundraiser on Facebook and share with all your friends!
SCHOOL FUNDRAISING IDEAS
Would you like to get your / your child’s school involved with raising money for the sanctuary? Why not suggest one of the following ideas!
- Sponsored swim or run
- Cake sale
- Non-uniform day
OTHER DONATIONS
If you would like to drop donations off at the sanctuary, items that we’re in constant need of include; dog & cat food, hay & straw , fruit & vegetables, and bags of animal feed (we use Crown Corner in Kelvedon Hatch). Please be aware that we do not take duvets or bedding.
WORKPLACE GIVING
Many employers are already set up with a payroll giving scheme, so check with them first before doing anything. If they aren’t visit the Government website for more information, and a list of organisations that you can register with. You may find that your employer offers matched giving, which means your donation will be doubled!
Some organisations like to support a nominated charity throughout the year, or for a specific event. If you’re made aware of any charitable giving your employer may be doing, please nominate Hopefield Animal Sanctuary – it’s great to work in partnership with other companies.
