Thank you to Brentwood Running Club for their kind donation

We were delighted to welcome the Brentwood Running Club down to the sanctuary this week who came bearing an enormous cheque in the sum of £1000 for us! Club chairman, Brian Harding, said: “it’s always good to support local charities that help educate young people about animal welfare. After all, each one of us is an animal lover at heart”.

Brentwood Running Club team members were thrilled to meet the Shetland ponies, pigs, cats, parakeets and a whole host of our other animals, and we can’t thank the club enough for such generosity and support. Donations like these make a huge difference to the work we do here, so we’re always grateful when the local community reaches out and offers such an amazing gesture.

Don’t forget, if you’re wondering where to see animals in Essex, we have over 600 of them here, all who have been rescued in some form or other. We’re open during term time Friday to Monday, 10am until 3pm, and every day during school holidays. We can’t wait to welcome you down for a family day out in the Essex countryside!
