Avian Influenza In Essex

Unfortunately there have been cases of avian flu in Essex over the last couple of weeks, so our team have been busy moving the birds into their indoor quarters, for their safety .

Some of the birds, like Noel, wanted to walk themselves with some supervision.

For the birds that can’t be moved indoors like our parrots, small aviary birds, and birds of prey, we’ve installed permanent coverings over their enclosures, which has cost over £1,000.
