Animal Rescue Life: Meet Roger Rabbit

This super cutie has hopped into Hopefield and straight into our hearts.
Meet Roger! This large, handsome boy hopped his way into the Hopefield family from another rescue who couldn’t keep him permanently, and we couldn’t love him more already if we tried! He’s such a sweet bunny, who is thoroughly enjoying his days zoomying and binkying around the office. As one of the largest animal rescue sanctuaries in Essex it’s always so heartwarming to be able to give a character like this a forever home.

Rabbits are one of the most neglected pets in the UK, despite being the third-most popular animal to keep. The recommended living area for two average-sized rabbits is at least least 3m x 2m by 1m high – a hutch is not enough and far too many end up in rescue or dumped. Please do think carefully before taking on any kind of pet, and if you’re thinking about adopting a bunny do read our Rabbit Welfare Guide first. Psst: If you do have a small animal then make sure you have our small animal boarding facility on your radar! Hopefield Boarding for Small Animals in now open and provides the very best care for your rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, tortoises and more while you’re on holiday!
