Meet Esmerelda the rescue pony

A very special young lady has arrived at the sanctuary to begin her new life.

Meet Esmeralda, our latest rescue pony. This beautiful young pony joined our family recently, and while she may be small, but she’s already made a huge impact on our hearts. Unfortunately she has a back deformity that, sadly, is likely to shorten her life – but what we can promise is that every day she spends here will be filled with love, comfort, and the best care possible. We don’t know much about her past, but her future is safe with us.

Please note, we are NOT taking rehoming enquiries for horses from private homes who cannot be kept for financial reasons or cannot be ridden – we have incredibly limited space right now, and the very, very few places we do have are saved for urgent rescue/welfare cases that are referred to us from our animal rescue friends. We have had a tidal wave of enquiries recently for us to take horses and ponies, and while we wish we could take them all, we only have limited space and funds to go around.
