HELP STOP THE WORLD’S FIRST OCTOPUS FARM
“We call on Spain, the UK, and the EU to stop the world’s first octopus farm and pass laws to ban octopus farming. This farm would set a dangerous precedent that could snowball into a new industry of octopus factory farms — and it must be stopped before it’s too late.”
Please help us to help them by signing the petition below:

They can grow bigger than a London bus: The biggest giant Pacific octopus ever recorded reached a whopping weight of 600lb and was 30ft across – longer than a London bus!
They can walk on land: Octopuses can use their tentacles to walk along the beach if they are trapped in a low tide or hunting for prey among the rock pools.
They are smart: They can build a fortress of stones around them as they sleep to protect them from predators.
They are masters of disguise: They can change not only their coloring, but also the texture of their skin to match rocks, corals and other items nearby.
They are anatomically impressive: An octopus has three hearts, and they all have slightly different roles. One heart circulates blood around the body, while the other two pump it past the gills, to pick up oxygen.
