Due to the heatwave forecast, we’ve had to postpone our Doggy Fun Day

Due to forecast high temperatures, Hopefield Animal Sanctuary has postponed its Doggy Fun Day to prioritise animal welfare. Our Bank Holiday Bonanza will now be extended, with plenty of family fun still to enjoy.
After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone our Doggy Fun Day event scheduled for Monday 25th May due to the high temperatures forecast.
As an animal sanctuary, animal welfare must always come first, and we don’t feel it would be ethical or responsible to encourage dogs to attend an outdoor event in extreme heat conditions. While we know this will be disappointing for many, we hope our supporters will understand that the wellbeing of animals will always be our top priority.
The good news is that our Bank Holiday Bonanza will now be EXTENDED to Monday, so there will still be plenty for families to enjoy here at the sanctuary! 🎉
For customers and stallholders who are already booked for our Doggy Fun Day, please keep an eye on your emails, as we’ll be in touch shortly with further information and next steps.
Thank you all so much for your understanding and continued support
