Looking for Halloween jobs in Essex? Hopefield Animal Sanctuary in Brentwood is recruiting theatrical, energetic characters for its Halloween Festival!
Looking for a Christmas quiz in Essex? Or perhaps a fun Christmas night out in Brentwood with friends, family or colleagues? Then, we’ve got your festive plans sorted.
Our Christmas Quiz Night at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary is taking place on Friday 11 December, with doors opening at 6.30pm and the quiz getting underway at 7pm.
Expect an evening of festive fun, friendly competition, plenty of questions to get your brains working and, inevitably, a few heated debates over whether someone’s answer should really count.
Tickets are £25 per person, which includes a delicious festive main meal and dessert. This year, we’re welcoming Greedy Vegan to take care of the catering, with a choice of:
Christmas dinner stew with mash and cranberry sauce or crusty bread
Red wine, mushroom and chestnut bourguignon with mash or bread
And because Christmas calories don’t count, you can finish with either chocolate orange brownie bites or Christmas pudding brownie bites.
There will also be a raffle on the night, while soft, hot and alcoholic drinks, cakes and snacks will be available to purchase throughout the evening.
Of course, this isn’t just any Christmas quiz night in Essex. Every ticket helps support the hundreds of rescued animals who call Hopefield home, helping us provide the food, veterinary care, shelter, enrichment and daily care they need.
So you get a festive night out, a lovely meal, a chance to show off your general knowledge — and you help animals at the same time.
We call that a pretty good Christmas plan.
Whether you’re looking for Christmas events in Essex, a Christmas quiz near Brentwood, a work Christmas night out or simply an excuse to get your mates together before Christmas takes over completely, we’d love to see you. This is a family-friendly, dog-friendly event, but there are only 70 places available, so don’t leave it until the last minute.
