Meet Minnie May, a new arrival at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, now settling into her forever home after joining us from Fripps Farm.
It’s been just over a week since avian influenza restrictions were lifted, and here at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, we couldn’t be happier to welcome our feathered residents back outdoors where they belong. After months of being kept safely indoors during the avian flu outbreak, our ducks and birds are once again enjoying the fresh air, open space, and natural environment. Watching them stretch their wings, explore their surroundings, and bask in the sunshine has been truly special for our team and visitors alike. Their return to outdoor life is a wonderful reminder of how important safe, natural habitats are for animal wellbeing.
We’re so grateful to everyone who supported Hopefield during the restrictions and helped us keep our animals safe.
