The final cost of preparing the Will, will depend on its complexity and can be advised following the consultation.

Please note that prior to any consultation, it is recommended that individuals should consider to whom they intend to leave their estate, and be prepared to disclose any complicating factors, such as ownership of property abroad or the presence of a disabled beneficiary.

FAQs

Do I Need a Will?

Quite simply, yes.

Many people understand the importance of having a Will, yet a significant proportion of adults still do not have one in place.

Making a Will ensures that your wishes are clearly recorded and that the people and causes you care about are provided for in the way you intend.

You should consider making or updating your Will if you:

Get married or enter into a long-term relationship
Have children or grandchildren
Own or are buying a property
Start or sell a business
Divorce or separate
Wish to protect a vulnerable family member: We offer advice on Court of Protection Deputyships
Wish to leave a gift to a friend, charity, or other beneficiary
Experience significant changes in health, finances, or family circumstances

Keeping Your Will Up to Date

A Will should not be viewed as a document you create once and never revisit.

As your circumstances change throughout life, it is important to review your Will regularly and update it when necessary. Major life events such as marriage, divorce, buying property, having children, or changes to your financial situation can all affect your Estate Planning needs.

How We Can Help

Making a Will can feel daunting, but our experienced team will guide you through the process in plain English, ensuring you understand all available options and can make informed decisions with confidence.

Our goal is to provide peace of mind by ensuring your estate is structured and protected in accordance with your wishes.

We offer a professional, friendly, and bespoke service, with fixed-fee options available so you can be clear about costs from the outset.

If you would like to discuss making or updating a Will, we would be pleased to help.
