We’re delighted to share some wonderful news from Hopefield Animal Sanctuary – our brand-new children’s library is now officially open!
This exciting new space has been made possible thanks to a generous grant from Tesco in partnership with Groundwork UK, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their support.
The children’s library has been thoughtfully designed to offer a peaceful retreat within the sanctuary. While Hopefield is full of energy, animals, and activity, we understand that families sometimes need a quieter spot to relax and recharge.
This new indoor space provides exactly that — a calm environment where children and adults alike can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the sanctuary.
Our library is fully kitted out to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, featuring comfortable beanbags for relaxed reading, a wide selection of children’s books, tables and seating areas for activities and learning and a beautiful hand-painted mural to inspire imagination.
Every detail has been chosen to make the space as cosy, engaging, and accessible as possible for visiting families.
At Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, we are passionate about education, wellbeing, and creating meaningful experiences for children. This new library supports those values by encouraging alove of reading, quiet time and sensory breaks, family bonding moments and educational opportunities linked to animals and nature.
