Volunteering with horses in Essex – join the Hopefield team!

We’re looking for Volunteer Animal Caregivers to help out on our Equine Section, and have spaces available every day except Wednesdays, caring for our rescued horses, ponies, and donkeys. Whether you can offer a full day (8am–4pm) or a half day (8am–1.30pm), your support makes a huge difference when it comes to caring for the animals that call Hopefield their forever home. As we move into the colder, winter months we really need to expand our team to make sure our equines have the extra care they need, so we do need volunteers who are willing to work in all weathers!

You’ll be helping with daily feeding, mucking out, and general care of our equine residents, all while being part of a friendly, passionate team dedicated to giving animals the love and safety they deserve. We would ask that if you are keen to be part of the team, that you are able to commit for one day per week all year round.
