We want our Christmas event to be wonderful for all, so please read before you come along.
When Oreo first came to us in July, she was a malnourished spaniel hanging on by a thread — exhausted, starved, and desperately in need of help. Since then, this little dog has shown more resilience than we ever could have imagined.
A few months after arriving, during what we expected to be a simple spaying procedure, vets discovered a number of mammary tumours. After giving her time to regain her strength, Oreo returned last week for extensive surgery to remove the affected glands. True to form, she powered through it. Oreo has a remarkable way of meeting every challenge head-on, and somehow coming out brighter on the other side. Her recovery is going wonderfully, and her playful spark is very much intact — even if her stitched-up tummy currently looks like it belongs in a sci-fi movie!
We’re incredibly grateful to James at House and Jackson for the exceptional care he’s provided. And to everyone who has been cheering Oreo on: your support has helped carry her through the hardest moments. Thank you, from all of us — and from one very brave little dog.
