We’re looking for new volunteers to help on our equine areas at Hopefield, and can’t wait to meet you.
We’re very pleased to share some positive news about one of our much-loved residents, Rusty. After a worrying few days battling a severe bout of colic – a condition that can often be fatal in horses – Rusty has thankfully turned a corner and is now on the road to recovery.
Thanks to the swift actions of our dedicated team and the excellent care provided by our vets, House & Jackson, Rusty has responded well to treatment and is back out in the fields enjoying relaxing in the fresh air.
While we’ll continue to monitor him closely over the coming days, we’re feeling optimistic about his progress. Rusty has shown incredible strength and resilience throughout his recovery – proving once again what a true trooper he is.
We’d like to thank everyone who reached out with kind messages and well-wishes during this difficult time. Your support means so much to all of us here at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, and the positive vibes always help us through difficult times.
