As the largest animal sanctuary in the South East it’s a never-ending tidal wave of calls for help when it comes to animal rescue. While we wish we could rescue every animal we’re asked to take, we just don’t have infinite space or resources, so please do sign up for our £2 per month Save a Life Campaign if you would like to help us continue our mission to save as many animals as we can.
This week we welcomed four new arrivals – three adorable micro ferrets and one bearded dragon. Meet Albi, Rocket and Pan the micro ferrets, and Bean the bearded dragon! Unlike many of our rescues, they came from a loving home and it was a very difficult decision for their previous owners to make, but following an unavoidable change of circumstances, they were left with no choice but to rehome them.
The micro ferrets are quite possibly the sweetest little things we’ve ever seen, and Bean is absolutely stunning – we’re glad we were able to offer them a forever home with us at the sanctuary as these kinds of animals are not your run-of-the-mill pets and need specialist care.
