Info for anyone who wants to help Hopefield while we’re closed for renovations

We’re working round the clock to keep our rescued residents safe and comfortable during this unbearable heatwave—all while trying to crack on with the urgent repairs and maintenance works that have sadly forced us to temporarily close to the public.

Not only are we having to cover significant repair costs, but we’re also losing around £10,000 in income every week while we’re closed. With the work expected to take another three weeks, we’re facing an incredibly tough financial strain.

We’ve had so many kind offers from supporters wanting to help, so we’re setting up volunteer days on the following dates:

Saturday 5th July

Sunday 6th July

Saturday 12th July

Sunday 13th July

Shifts: 9am–1.30pm or 9am–4pm

Tasks include painting, gardening & general maintenance

Ages 18+ only
