Christmas is a magical time of year — full of kindness, compassion, and coming together to make a difference. Here at Hopefield, it’s also one of the most important seasons for our 600+ rescued residents.
Instead of sending traditional Christmas cards this year, why not make a donation on behalf of your loved ones?
By gifting the money you would have spent on cards, you’re directly supporting the daily care of our residents — providing warm beds, nutritious meals, and essential veterinary treatment.
It’s a kinder, more sustainable way to celebrate the season, and we can even provide a digital certificate to let your friends and family know that a special donation has been made in their honour.
For just £5, you can treat one of our rescued animals to a special Christmas meal on Christmas Day.
From our gentle horses and cuddly cows to our cheeky goats and inquisitive exotics, every resident will enjoy a festive feast thanks to supporters like you.
When you buy a Christmas dinner, you’ll also receive a digital voucher you can gift in place of a card or present — perfect for animal lovers or those who prefer thoughtful, meaningful gifts.
Help us make Christmas Day extra special for our 700 rescued residents by donating a festive “Christmas box” filled with goodies to brighten their day. From the smallest rabbit to our gentle cows, every gift makes a huge difference.
Donations can be dropped off in boxes of all shapes and sizes — big or small, we’ll put every item to good use!
Please drop off all donations no later than midday on 24th December so our team can sort and distribute everything in time for Christmas morning.

Hay, straw, and specialist feeds are essential for keeping our animals warm, healthy, and well-nourished through the cold months — but prices continue to rise dramatically.
Our Winter Hay, Straw & Feed Appeal helps us fund the mountains of hay and bedding we get through every day. A donation of any size makes a huge difference and helps us ensure no animal ever goes without.
