Farrier Day at Hopefield for our A12 Horses

Every Wednesday, our amazing farrier visits to give our horses their much-needed hoof care, and this wee it was the A12 gang’s turn! This is only the second time these lovely horses have had their feet done since arriving at Hopefield, and they’d never experienced farrier work before their rescue. To keep everyone safe while they’re still getting used to the process, they were gently sedated — and they did brilliantly (even if Mary did try to have a little lie-down on the farrier).

We’re so grateful to have such a fantastic farrier and vet team who are always ready to rise to the challenge and lend us a helping hand!
