When Ned arrived our staff were shocked by his state. After they learnt about Bella, they all put money together to save her too and then a few months later Peggy was born.
Our staff loaded up the trailer, and set off on a 4-hour round trip to collect Simone and Mildred from the south coast in July 2023.
They were originally rescued by a kind person, but tragically they lost their life in a car accident, leaving these two girls behind.
Mildred & Simone were being kept in a barn on a farm temporarily, but the farmer was going to have them shot the day after we were contacted, so we stepped in and gave them a forever home.
Sadly we lost Simone in 2023.
