We couldn’t save a fraction of the animals here if it weren’t for the support and generosity of the public, so we were delighted when members from The Rotary Club of Brentwood came down to the sanctuary this week to present us with a cheque for a whopping £592.50!
The Rotary Club of Brentwood was first formed in 1932 and its almost 50 members are always helping to raise the profiles of local charities such as Hopefield, and we’re told that the club, “promotes friendliness and good fellowship, both for fun and banter, but with a greater cause in mind, helping those less fortunate than ourselves.” Amazing stuff indeed!
Thank you again for raising these much-needed funds which will be put to very good use when it comes to caring for our 600+ rescued animals!
