This week, old horse Candy had her new shoes put on! Our amazing farrier, Carl, put them on to help her move around more comfortably, as she was diagnosed with laminitis a few weeks ago. She was such a good girl for Carl; she stood very still and was very patient. We hope she feels better soon and is able to move around without being in pain. If you would like to help us care for animals like Candy, why not sign up to our £2 per month direct debit? You can find out more here- https://cafdonate.cafonline.org/4161#!/DonationDetails

Don’t miss this months online auction 25th February! Log onto our main Facebook page at 10am to bid on amazing items such as skin care, jewellery, doggy accessories, clothing, artwork and more!

Simon the rescued lamb’s horns have grown so much, they are now curling round! Once he has fully grown, they will be very impressive and he will be one very handsome sheep! Simon and his big step brother, Dustin, have still been playing together and snuggling in at night time. How sweet!

The animals and staff were happy to go back to their normal routine this week as the snow melted! The pigs, horses, donkeys and cats are just a few of the residents who have been enjoying the milder weather. The team were very happy to have running water and be able to feel their fingers and toes!
