We’re incredibly sad to let you know that our dear old Rosary passed away last night. She had been receiving veterinary care over the past couple of weeks, but unfortunately she decided it was her time.

We’re incredibly sad to let you know that our dear old Rosary passed away last night.

She had been receiving veterinary care over the past couple of weeks, but unfortunately she decided it was her time.

Rosary came to us when she was just under a year old, and quickly became friends with our gentle giant, Max. When Max passed away Rosary was devastated, and although she had the other cows to keep her company, you could see she missed him.

When Jack arrived, Rosary paired up with him and showed him sanctuary life. You could see Rosary’s character changed as she had found a new best friend. She turned 17 this year.

Jack is very sad at the moment and looking for his beloved friend. Staff and volunteers will miss Rosary loads and will, of course, support Jack, but there is comfort knowing she will be reunited with Max over the rainbow bridge.
