One of the hardest parts of animal rescue is having to say goodbye, and last week we had to say goodbye to Peaches the pig.
Little Jet arrived at the sanctuary this afternoon, after a kind lady and her daughter had found him, dumped in a carrier bag next to a road.
Thankfully they stopped after noticing the bag moving, and found this beautiful boy. We believe he was dumped as he has a deformity and is actually missing one of his feet. This doesn’t stop Jet though, he loves to run around and play as though there’s nothing wrong with him! He’ll get to live out the rest of his days surrounded by love and affection at the sanctuary.
We will now need to get him vaccinated, castrated, and microchipped – any donations, no matter how big or small, will be a great help in covering these costs.
