We’ve been making the most of the January sales!
Lacey started working for Hopefield when she was 16 years old and completely fell in love with Lightning! It was because of his quirks and cheeky sense of humour that started his and Lacey’s budding friendship!
Lightning came to Hopefield with curvature of the spine and is prone to lameness. Lightning is set in his ways and is very excitable. He gets stressed when separated from his friends so requires a lot of attention and love – which Lacey is happy to give! Lightning is 31 years old – however, you would never have thought this due to his energy! He can often be spotted in the field’s side-stepping! It is because of this quirk that Lacey has nicknamed him ‘Mr Krabs’.
We absolutely believe that every animal has a different and endearing personality. Lightning is just one of our 55 horses here at Hopefield, living out his days in his forever home!
