We’ve been making the most of the January sales!
One of our visitors alerted us to poor Dennis the Tanuki acting rather odd in his enclosure today. Unfortunately he was showing signs of having seizures so we rushed him our vets immediately.
He was examined and x-rays showed that he had excess food and gas in his stomach, and was bloated, so had to be rushed into surgery. It was a big operation to remove all of his stomach contents and flush him out. Poor Dennis took a while to wake up afterwards but is doing ok so far. Staff are keeping a very close eye on him overnight.
